Miss Q's Classic 2007

The Miss Q’s classic this year was a smash hit, fantastic games were played by some of WA’s best with Sue Bussanich Taking out the ladies Cash & Title in the womens, beating the current Australian Women’s champion Elise Mabbot, with a special mention to Miss Q’s own Haylie Bryant who came 4th.

In the Men’s Back to back winner Justin Sajich took the cash and defended his title from the back to back Runner Up Darren Morris with a special mention to Miss Q’s own Shannon Ellis coming in 3rd. What a fabulous fun weekend topped off with a serious $500.00 money match between two competitors who just couldn’t get enough of the game!

Miss Q's Classic 2006, $6,000 Smash hit

The first weekend in November presented the best from the East & West playing in the Miss Q’s Classic and what a terrific event it turned out to be. Saturday play saw Men & Ladies test the tables in the sectional play rounds with the top qualifiers from each table going through to the money rounds on Sunday.

All players went hard playing for a combined prize pool of $6000.00 in a straight knock out. Eventually in the Men’s young ‘en Justin Sajich beat Marc Robertson in an awesome exhibition of faultless potting.

The ladies final brought the very best out in WA’s top two ladies players with Lyndal Element coming through with the goods in a tight tactical final against Elise Mabbot, the girls put on a real show with only one frame in it.
