New Years Eve 2007

On the 31st of December 2007 at Miss Q’s the party fever was in the air. A group of 13 made up of James Prior, Holly O’Brien, Matt Smith, Shannon Ellis, Fozzie, Damien Stenhouse, Dave McMartin Luke Rowe, Tammy Doney, Dan Whitehorn, Tony and Jane Parkinson-Jose, paying $125 for drinks of there choice all night, pizza for dinner and the pool table hire why would you want to be anywhere else, and with Azza and Kez behind the bar it was sure to be a big night.

We kicked off the night with a lot of pool and just as much drinking, we played the game championship table were the winners progress to the next table and losers stay on there table and with everyone’s sprits high, we entertained ourselves until the food arrived and with pizza on the menu we couldn’t wait.

Of course it wouldn’t be a drinking night with out the game buffalo and with everyone drinking double shots no one could afford the get caught. Once everyone had there dinner it was back to pool and drinking, With drinking being the main focus and Tammy buying shots everyone started to get legless and a bit off balanced .. Or was that just me...

With the count down nearing drinking became heavier and pool declined, everyone grabbed someone to stand next to as Kez called the count down in and 2008 hit we all were jumping for joy and happiness. After the count down we all grabbed another drink and hit the pool tables again for another 45 min. With Miss Q’s closing only three people that were in a driving state were Tony, Jane and Kez and as half piled in to Kez’s car and the other half piling into Tony and Jane’s car we headed to the night clubs to bring in the new year with more people.

I think if I could re-live that night again I wouldn’t be any where else with friends to my left and right I couldn’t have brought in the new year in a better way. Bulldog….

Love In The Air On New Year:

As the Miss Q’s New Year’s party kicked off, Dan Whitehorn & Tammy Doney rolled in fresh from celebrating their one year anniversary over a special dinner at Sunbreakers. Both had a twinkle in their eye as they announced that Dan had popped the Question! Tammy proudly displayed a rock on her finger, the Queen would be envious of. Congratulations Guys & we look forward to the Wedding on Dec 31st, 2009.
